Packet #7 Fall Root Builder

This is where smart lawns start building next spring.

September has a different feel. The worst heat is backing off. The lawn can breathe again. And while a lot of people think the season is winding down, this is actually where some of the most important work happens. Not flashy work. Winning work.

You’ve stayed with this thing all year. You’ve built color, protected through stress, pushed through summer, and brought the lawn back. Now we build underneath. Roots. Energy storage. Fall strength. The stuff that shows up later in a big way.

September 20 • Covers up to 5,000 sq ft • Use with included 32 oz hose-end sprayer

You’re still doing exactly what you should be doing.

A lot of people stop too soon. They think summer is over, toss the mower in the garage a few weeks later, and call it a year. You’re not doing that. You’re finishing with intention, and that matters because September is not cleanup. September is setup.

So give yourself credit. You didn’t just chase a quick green-up. You stayed with the lawn long enough to actually build something.

Why September matters

Fall is when the lawn starts storing strength.

As temperatures ease up, cool-season turf shifts energy below the surface. That is why this packet is so important. Nitrogen supports recovery and continued plant function. Phosphorus helps with root development and energy transfer inside the plant. Potassium supports stress tolerance and overall plant balance. Micros help the lawn actually process all of it efficiently.

Calcium Nitrate
Keeps the lawn active and supported while fall growth and recovery keep moving.
Mono-Potassium Phosphate
Delivers phosphorus and potassium, which are key for root activity and energy movement inside the plant.
Potassium Sulfate
Supports plant strength and helps the turf go into cooler weather in a better position.
Micros + Epsom Salt
Magnesium supports chlorophyll and color, while micronutrients help drive the chemistry behind healthy response.
Look at your lawn now

You should be seeing a lawn that made it through the season.

Maybe the color is coming back stronger. Maybe it looks cleaner again. Maybe it just looks like a lawn that has been cared for all year. That is the payoff of consistency.

Now September turns that visible progress into underground strength. This is where the lawn starts banking energy instead of just showing it off.

How to apply

Same easy process. Strong fall timing.

You know the routine now. That’s the beauty of it. No second-guessing. Just one more smart application at the right point in the season.

Step 1
Open the sprayer bottle
Grab your included 32 oz hose-end sprayer and remove the top.
Step 2
Pour in the full packet
Empty all of Packet #7 into the bottle.
Step 3
Fill to 32 oz with water
Add water until the bottle reaches the 32 oz line.
Step 4
Shake until dissolved
Close it up and shake well so the mix is fully blended.
Step 5
Attach your hose
Connect the sprayer to your garden hose and get ready to apply.
Step 6
Spray evenly over the lawn
Walk at a steady pace and cover up to 5,000 sq ft evenly.

One more strong move. Right on schedule.

You are not winding down. You’re building forward.

That’s the mindset here. September is not the end of the energy. It’s the shift into deeper work. Root work. Foundation work. The kind of work that makes the lawn come out stronger later because you stayed disciplined now.

And you should be pumped about that. Because the season is not done talking yet.

Quick tips

Help September work even better

Stay mowing regularly
Fall lawns still want clean, consistent mowing as they recover and strengthen.
Keep watering sensible
Cooler weather helps, but the lawn still needs moisture to keep roots and recovery moving.
Do not coast now
Fall timing is one of the biggest edges you can give a lawn for the future.
Coming next

October is where we finish with intention.

When you scan Packet #8, we’re going to close this thing out the right way. Not with a fade-out. With a final move that locks the season in.

So keep going. The lawn is not done yet, and neither are you.

September builds it deeper. October seals it.
